We strongly recommend that you incorporate a weekly exercise
regimen into your Weight Management Program. Remember, the Program's approach to Weight Management
addresses the needs of your entire body. Exercise is one of those needs. It burns fat, increases your energy level and promotes cardiovascular health. Check with your doctor before starting
the LifeStyles® Weight Management Program. He or she will be able to help you find the fitness plan that's right for you. It is a good idea to see your doctor periodically during the program, as you work toward
achieving your ideal body weight.
Keep in mind that "exercise" does not mean "running 20 miles a day" or "bench pressing 300 lbs."
Relaxing, enjoyable activities such as evening walks or casual bike rides are excellent forms of exercise. Just be consistent and have fun ! If motivation is a problem, then get a buddy or a partner to join you.
Set goals for yourself and chart your progress regularly. Before long, you will be looking forward to your exercise routine - and enjoying fantastic results !
