I can hear you all shouting out...FOREVER! Of course we all want income forever, but so often our work ethics are dictated by our desire to make money TODAY! Now, we all know that that’s not realistic but we still go out there looking for the ‘quick buck today.” Can you make excellent part-time money in network marketing? Of course! Can we achieve a standard of living, previously thought impossible through network marketing? YES. Can we become extremely wealthy through network marketing? MOST DEFINITELY! But NOT today!

Networking is about planting seeds. You can’t harvest in abundance unless you seed with abandonment, water them and protect them from attack. Our down-lines are vulnerable seeds - it’s up to us to nurture them through their growth. By so doing, you’ll be building your income for the future. It’s so simple to become wealthy if you build your fortune just $1 at a time.

The following was handed to me by a Distributor on my travels. It so easily shows the impact and the value of lots of little steps.

The question I was asked was: Would you work for me for a full month getting paid one penny for the first day, two pennies for the second day, four pennies for the third day and doubling the pay each day for the balance of the month?

-- OR --

Would you work extra hard for me for just one day and we will forget the rest of the month and I will pay you $100,000?

I had to think! I knew my answer straight away because I believe in small steps.

At the end of 10 days, my income would have been just $10.23. (In fact, at the end of 15 days it would only be $327.68 - not much for two weeks of hard work!) Should I give up?

Let’s see...

Well, just by taking those small steps, after one month, I would have earned twenty one million, four hundred and seventy four thousand, eight hundred and thirty-six dollars and forty-six cents. Not bad, eh?

(As clearly demonstrated in the table below).

In an average MLM Opportunity we are all underpaid for our efforts the first six months. The next six to eighteen months we are paid about what we are worth. After twenty-four months we are paid more than we’re worth.

Many of you have heard me talk about how to make a million dollars. Either all at one go (which is pretty darned hard) or $1.00 at a time - which is more achievable.

The message: Be consistent - every day! Take simple steps; steps that can be duplicated by anyone and everyone from all walks of life. You see, no matter how large or small your seedlings growth, they all add to the overall beauty of the garden.
